Three engagements, each with a clear purpose.
Our work takes three forms: a financial review, a planning engagement, and transaction advisory. Each is defined, scoped, and priced in writing before we begin.
Back to HomeHow we approach financial advisory work
Our engagements share a common orientation: we bring financial experience to a specific question or situation, work collaboratively with whoever handles finance internally, and produce a written output that the client controls. The engagement ends when the work is done.
We do not prescribe a fixed methodology across all clients. A manufacturing business facing a refinancing has different needs from a retail group planning a three-year expansion. We adapt the analytical approach to the situation, within the framework of the engagement type.
What remains consistent across all engagements: transparency about what we are doing and why, interim communication so there are no surprises at the end, and a final output that stands on its own without our annotation.
Diagnostic
Read the financial position clearly before drawing any conclusions.
Collaborative
Work alongside your finance team, not in isolation from it.
Written
Every engagement produces a standalone written output.
Defined
Scope and fee agreed in writing before work begins.
Financial Health Review
A concise engagement for Thai SMEs and family businesses that would like an outside reading of their financial position. We examine current financial statements, working capital dynamics, and basic cost structure, and return a short written memorandum with observations and questions for the client's leadership to consider.
The review is suitable as a preparatory step before planning a change, refinancing, or a new investment cycle. It is not an audit and does not produce audited figures; it is a considered outside reading.
What this engagement covers
- Current financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Working capital dynamics and cash cycle
- Basic cost structure and margin analysis
- Key financial ratios in industry context
- Written memorandum with observations and questions for leadership
Process steps
Initial conversation
Brief call to confirm the engagement is appropriate for your situation.
Document collection
We request financial statements and request a working session with your finance lead.
Review and analysis
We review the materials and ask follow-up questions as needed.
Memorandum delivery
Short written memorandum delivered and discussed with your leadership team.

- You are preparing for a conversation with a bank or lender
- The business is at a decision point and you want a clearer financial picture first
- You have not had an outside financial reading in more than two years
- You are considering a planning or forecasting engagement and want to understand the current position first

- You are preparing to approach a lender and need a financial plan to support that conversation
- Leadership wants to understand the financial implications of two or three possible directions

Financial Planning & Forecasting
A six-to-eight-week engagement that produces a three-year financial model tailored to the client's business, alongside a planning document covering key assumptions, sensitivities, and funding considerations. The work is conducted collaboratively with the finance lead or CFO.
The output is a working tool that the client can maintain and update internally — not a closed model that requires our ongoing involvement to interpret or adjust.
What this engagement covers
- Three-year integrated financial model (income, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Key assumption documentation and methodology
- Sensitivity analysis across key variables
- Funding considerations and capital planning notes
- Planning document for leadership use
- Handover session to ensure your team can operate the model independently
